I have a usb scanner and i can't make it work with linux.Is there a way to make it work? With windows it works just fine. Do i need any driver?Give me a clue pls.I use Red Hat linux 7.1.Thanks.

the SANE project is a non-twain universal scanner driver for linux. check there to see if your scanner is supported yet.

Thank Apple for your link.I checked there and i found out that my scanner is not compatible with linux. Since i installed linux in my PC i have not been able to use my modem and sound card because linux doesn't support them . Thank god it supports me because i am a newbie.
