Comment:

I run RedHat 7.2 and I try to open /etc/xinetd.d to looking for swat file, but there is no swat file. Does any one know why and how to get swat file in there? Thanks.

I would suggest forgetting swat and just edit /etc/smb.conf (possibly /etc/samba/smb.conf) by hand. It is usaully well commented and easy to follow

You should find swat package on the RH cd,
install, and your swat-file should be in
/etc/xinet.d.

Make sure "disable=no"......
