i'm running slackware 10 setting up an OGG server for the network. the problem is is that one of the partitions (FAT) won' share. other (EXT2/3) partitions are sharing fine. can't samba share from a vfat drive? or does it require a special option?

How is the share mounted? Are you using "umask=0" as an option to allow regular users to read and write to the drive?
