Hello, I'm new in Linux and I wont to build network with LINUX PDC and the client is W2k. But I have one little problem when I wont to connect to domain from client it shows welcome to domain ….. , but when I restart the client machine and wont to connect on domain it shows message "the trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed". Where could be a problem?

Without more details on how things are configured it is difficult to diagnose your problem. Nevertheless there are a few things you can try:
1. Make sure there is a machine account for your windows box on the Linux PDC. The SAMBA PDC documentation tells you how to do this, but I believe its MACHINENAME$
2. In the windows local security policy, there is a policy that says something to the effect of "Domain Member: Digitaly encrypt or sign secure channel (always). Change this to disabled.
3. Is your Linux box setup as a WINS server? If so make sure than windows is configured to use it as such.
4. Also make sure you specify a valid guest account in your smb.conf . I have seen this cause problems with domain logins. Hope this helps.
