Hey guys, I'm trying to integrate some linux machine into my domain and I'm having a heck of a time. I want the users's windows shares to be mounted on login (this this case to /lhome//home and then I want samba to use /lhome//home//linux as their linux home directory (in this case, the home mount would be the users share on our PDC, which has a subdirectory for each username...) I'm using winbind so that all the usernames sync up between windows and linux, but whenever I configure samba to use a home directory in the new mount, it refuses to let me shell in. It works fine as long as the samba home is in a normal directory... I'm using /etc/profile to handle the mounting on login and what not, but I'm just about to go crazy. Does anyone have any experience trying something like this? Please Help!!!
