Hi, I've recently installed SAM-07 on my Compaq Presario V5000 notebook.

The install went very smoothly, but the Synaptics touchpad is behaving very oddly. It seems to be OK, but then it goes crazy and skips all over the place. I suppose I need a driver for it, but I don't know where to get one, or how to install it. Could you help?

Also, this is a laptop, but no battery or power icon is displayed anywhere I can see, does anyone know how to setup SAM 07 for notebooks?

Thanks,
Sam

Thanks, Jam.

That webpage said I need to use start-up scripts.

http://www.compass.com/tpconfig/tou...

I don't know what I need to do with this. And I don't know what to do with the tpconfig file I've downloaded.

I've extracted it using Xarchiver to the TMP folder.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sam
