Running Window's Programs on Linux

CPU/Ram: p4(2.4ghz), 512mb ram

I would like to know if there is a program to make windows programs work on linux or if you have to change file or something. If you have information please e-mail me at: MrPriolo@netscape.net. Thanks For Your Help.

Wine is your friend (www.winehq.com)

For games use winex (www.transgaming.com)

For office apps, photoshop and various
plugins (eg quicktime) use crossover-office
(www.codeweavers.com) which is again based
on wine.

Not everything will run 100%....but a lot does these days. You are still better off trying to find a linux alternative, just about the only time I need to use windoze/wine is for access databases and dreamweaver.
