Is there anyway I can run iTunes on Ubuntu Linux through wine? Perhaps there is a tutorial somewhere because I can't seem to get it to work. It tries to load, but nothing happens.

You may be best served to search for itunes in your Ubuntu Software Package Manager. There are several Linux applications that act as an interface to the itunes music store. I do not use itunes here, so I can not offer any specific recommendation.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

Honestly, the best way to get a fully-functioning iTunes installation in Ubuntu is to run it over a virtual Windows machine. It's pretty easy these days, loads in a couple of clicks and gives you full access to iTunes with all functionality, and it's not a heavy load on your system (it runs fast on my very old and crappy desktop machine). Here's my guide based on my experiences: http://www.silverknife.co.uk/tech/2...
