I cannot get DHCP to initialize. Roadrunner does not give me a host name so I am not sure how to configure the DHCP. Any one have any ideas?

I had the same problem so what I did was load into windows ran Winipcfg clicked more info button and copied the ip gateway and DNS listings then ran linuxconf (i'm using RH 6.2) edited the configuration for the network
it works great and I have a static IP adress
