im currently running win 2000 as host with VMWare 3.2 running a virtual machine with RHL8. ive managed to install everything successfully (including vmware tools). problem is, linux doesnt seem to be using the swap partition. i use the free command to show the total, used and free memory within RAM and swap. it shows up as 256MB total swap space but none of it used. it should be using it because almost all of the 128MB allocated RAM is used. any ideas? is this a problem with the use of a virtual hard drive inherent in VMWare or is there a solution? (other than just running native)
