I am having an issue with a burnt copy of RH 7.3 where the Disc1 won't boot. It was burnt as an ISO with Nero Burning Rom. My computer is an Hp 933 Mhz with 384MB RAM and it is set to boot from the CD-ROM but when I reboot with the Disc1 in, it boots up to XP. I have ran the chksums and they all match perfectly. I have also burnt 3 different copies of Disc1 and have the same result. Any ideas?

Not so sure about the configurations of your mb or nero when you burnt it. But I'll say get the install.iso instead of disc1.iso disc2.iso disc3.iso etc..

You need to create a boot disk from disk 1. Search the web for a trial application called "undisker", which will extract the files out of the ISO image. Red Hat's site will provide documentation on how to create a boot disk. Personally, I would re-burn the installation disks with the extracted files (using undisker first). I found that if I didn't extract the files first, the installation, from boot disk, wouldn't recognize the burned ISO images.
