Comment:

I just installed RH9 on my laptop and I want to update Mozilla from 1.2 to 1.4. So I downloaded the following files

mozilla-1.4-12.i386.rpm
mozilla-nspr-1.4-12.i386.rpm

However I get the message below when I try to install them
rpm -iv xxx.rpm

[root@localhost RPM]# rpm -iv mozilla-1.4-12.i386.rpm
warning: mozilla-1.4-12.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID 897da07a

[root@localhost RPM]# rpm -iv mozilla-nspr-1.4-12.i386.rpm

How can I update Mozilla?? Im new to RPM's (I like the apt-get install method myself) so any pointers would be great.

I think you can doubleclicking the rpm-file if you use KDE or somthing like this.

It should work!

Alternatively you could have used the
upgrade switch instead of install, eg:
# rpm -Uvh
mozilla-nspr-1.4-12.i386.rpm

NB You can also install multiple RPMs, eg:
# rpm -Uvh mozilla*

Try rpm -Uvh this will update instead of install.
Good Luck I updated mine from source and never could get the menu correct.I had dead links to the old version. This was version 1.3 though.
If you have RPMs then the above command should work. The no key deal just means that it didnt come from RedHat.
I use synaptic and apt-get as well. Mozilla is not in the repository though.
Take care
Ron
