Hi,

I am new to linux. i just installed redhat linux 7.3 unfortunatly i picked inapproriate reselution setting during installation. how can i change it from linux?

there are several tools xf86config, Xconfigurator or ur "Distro X Setuping Tool"

if you failed on the previous ones just try to hack as root

/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 or just XF86Config if u dont have the previous

and change Mode, like say,

Modes "1600x1200" "1024x768" "800x600"

the first one ill be the default, and u can swap to the others by pressing Ctrl+Alt+"+" or Ctrl+Alt+"-"
