I'm trying to remove a VA linux partition that came with my VA Linux 2230. I've tried using delpart to remove the partition but it didn't work. Does anyone have a clue as to how to remove a VA linux/linux partition? Your input is much appreciated.

What do you mean by "to remove a VA linux partition"? If just to delete an entry in the partition table then it should be simple with any fdisk (better not the DOS/WIn one). Use Ranish Partition Manager:
I had that problem 6 months ago. Try using any low format utility and reinstall os.
good luck
