i have installed and configured network in redhat 8.0(with the help of two cds). i have installed redhat 8.0 has server iam manage to do this.now i need a help fromu all

1 how to configure mailsevrer, is there any in built mail server by default or i have to insatll a mail server seprately,if it is in built can any one guide m how to configure it( tillnow i was using exchange server in windows nt platform & now i wanna to use linux mailserver) i need all ur help


2 how to find out is samba server installed in my linux 8.0 & how to configure it , i want my windows 95 &98 system login to linux server can any one help how to configure or any valuable site

The easiest way of configuring a samba server is by webmin, a program which works on port 10000. to see if you are running samba just type nmap localhost if you are running samba port 139 will be open
