hey okay i wanted to dual boot between windows xp and redhat 9.0 So i installed windows first, created 2 Raw partitions, formated partition 1 (hda1) for winxp (NTFS) then i left the 2nd partition Raw. I split em up 20 GB each all on my 40 GB hard drive. So windows installs, boots fine, and now i install redhat 9.0, i configure so it installs on my 2nd Raw partition which i format for redhat, then it asks me to make a 3rd partition for SWAP or something, so i do. now i set my boot loader as GRUB, linux hda2 as my primary boot sector, and install the GRUB boot sector on my MASTER BOOT SECTOR. it installs, and when i goto boot my computer it give me a "DISK BOOT FALIURE" Message. i tried reinstalling Kernel throught the redhat setup cd as well as trying a few combinations of the boot loader (using LILO instead of GRUB, making my DOS primary over my linux, installing on the MASTER boot sector or secondary (hda2) boot sector, AND I ALWAYS GET THAT FRIGGIN ERROR MESSAGE!! Ive been at this all day and its very frustrating. PLZ HELP!!! Thanks in advance.
