Redhat Linux 9.1 install problems

Hey, For some reason when i try to install Redhat Linux 9.1 on my computer the screen goes black and says "out of range" then it says 255Hz or something.What can I do to correct this? thanks in advance

That message is telling you that your monitor, (or adapter card) does not support the rez or mode that the install is tring to use. It may even be an incompatiable model and not work with linux at all.
