this could be a dump question since I am just a programming guy.
The company I work for just got two brand-new dell severs to host multiple websites&databases. The objective to use one of the servers as backup server. I've configured rsync and mysql's master-slave replication so that two servers(master-slave) keep the same data(for web&db).
My question is that how I can switch the master-server to slave-server if master goes down(so that requests go to slave-server). Does this something to do with the router? How do I make it work automatically?
