Could anybody please tell me how I can get my linksys Wireless USB adapter to work on Redhat 7.3. I have been to various sites, but none of them can just give simple instructions on how to do it. I am beginning to HATE linux very much. Can't anything be simple with this software. I loaded the rpm files from http://prism2.unixguru.raleigh.nc.us/ tried to follow the instructions, which were very poor, and keep getting error messages like "Failed to load p80211.o.modprobe" and "prism2_usb device doesn't seem to be present" at boot. Why can't it be easy to load new hardware into Linux, and why can't anybody write simple instructions on how to load drivers into linux? Please if anybody has a solution and can actually explain how to do it SIMPLY!!!!!(keep in mind I am a beginner). Please let me know what I can do to get this thing working.
