Hello,

Does anyone have experience with installing the e-tech PCI PTA128 ISDN modem under RH8?

I use the internet wizard that comes with RedHat, and my ISDN Card has been detected as A Billion SE128 Card, this one is using the same Cologne HFC-S Chipset, so this sounds correct.

The problem is that after the installation the activation doesn't work. An error occures. Maybe the problem is the IRQ, RH says 5 instead of 11 (under Windows), how is Plug&Play handled under RH?

Can someone help me with this, because the only things I can find are about compiling the Kernal for Hisax support, but my kernel allready has, I believe, because of the modem detection.

Kind regards,
Bert
