Can someone tell me how I may go about changing the monitor driver and screen resolution of RH GUI interface in the command prompt. I'm a newbie to linux u see :)
my problem is the screen is all garbled on my notebook when the RH GUI login loads. So I guess it's a monitor driver or resoultion problem.
RH has a handy config utility called Xconfigurator which you can use (just type Xconfigurator at the console terminal, make sure you are root though). If you know all the specs and details then you could manually edit the /etc/X11/XFree86Config (or perhaps XFree86Config-4) yourself.
