Redhat 7.2 networking problems

Okay, so I just installed redhat 7.2 on my new HP Pavilion 760n. However, it doesn't seem to like the builtin network card:
Intel Pro/100 VE Network Connection
I looked in the /proc filesystem, and it seems to see it. Can someone walk me through setting up networking on my machine. I have done this many times (>100), but have never ran into any problems... Thank you very much for your time.

You can configure your network card using KDE Control Panel. Click on the "K" menu on the lower left side. Click "System" and then "KDE Control Panel."
Good luck.

I've experienced the same problem. Fortunately there is a driver at the Intel web site that you untar, compile and... that's it! You just insmod the new module and everything works fine... magically! :-) Any question, feel free to contact me. Fabrizio
