I have problems with the the networkcard under linux redhat 7.0 the driver is not working really fine i can't ping my other computer but the network cables are good and my switch is working properly, i hear from a friend that the realtek driver is not programming very well, please my question is can anybody send me a new driver, i needed very quickly also i have a winbond pci 10mbit card winbond 89C940F, this is the second card i have, for this i need also a driver, i look at different pages but i can't find the right on, thanks to all linux freaks and users

Sounds like a problem, that I experienced with an AMD Athlon Thunderbird processor on an ASUS A7V motherboard. Couldn't get any network card going on Caldera 2.3, 2.4 RH 6.1 and 6.2. Finally everything worked with RH 7.1 (seawolf), which I downloaded as 2 CD's from the ftp server. A few weeks later I updated my BIOS and the NIC's worked also for Caldera and the older RH releases.
