RedHat 6.1 on Virtual PC

I am having problems installing RedHat 6.1 on Virtual PC. In text mode, it gets as far as gathering package information, then before it starts to install packages, an error comes up. But, in graphical mode, it gets to the package installation bit, and just sits idle. What am I doing wrong?

Any help appreciated,

Virtual PC version: VPC 2007 Version 6.0.156.0

Text-mode installation mostly has python-1.5/site-package errors

Did you check CRC /Md5checksums (what does RH use shal?)

How do I run shal on the install disc?

If a real bought from RH disk then most likely OK.

If from web then run shal on iso image and when you copy to disk use verify.

You can actually run shal on a disk but will take too much time to explain.
