Well in my opinion...

I Feel Mandrake as more user friendly
I Feel Red Hat has a bigger user base

I use Red Hat at work on some server and
workstations

I use Mandrake at home for my family and I

This is my 2 cents

They do the same thing just in a different
style

Thank, now i know.

And do you know how...

I try to install my camera Agfa e1280 under Mandrake 9.1. Camera is connect to com 1. In Windows XP i have no problem, detect automatic.

But in Mandrake, when i go to GPHOTO software, and i try to config my camera, i click to configure, and Select port-camera model. I put Agfa ephoto 1280 and i chooce com 1 /dev/tty/S0, after i click save, i have this message : Missing serial device permission. Please check the permissions.

I try each com, 1 2 3 4, same problem. I know its com 1.

I boot in root. And i use GNOME.
