I have tested all different installation on ThinkPad T30, R31, R32 and X23, and found no problems.

What is you concern?

I want to update my RH 7.2 to RH 8.0, but I am not sure if it would work well on Thinkpad i1200. I don't know what will happen with the partition that RH 7.2 create automatically after I update to RH 8.0.
