Comment:

After installing REd Hat 8.0 (using linux pci=off) - the reboot did not work because my monitor configuration was wrong.

How can I get to the Grub Menu screen assuming it was installed? I have a boot disk created before installation and the CDs. Please note I am running XP in a separate partition

Using the boot disk I can only get to the install boot: prompt and thereafter to the Welcome Screen for Installation. But all I want to do is Logon as root. Can anyone help?
