Greeting folks.
How does a script that can automatically reboot my linux server when it detects that the server load has reached a certain load, look?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, you are all good people.
Regards,
Wendy Braviola

Can't imagine why one would do such a thing.
One could have to use some process to monitor some process or group of processes's.
Maybe use ps command with cron.
"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

That is an easy question.
Maybe.Depends on what exactly you mean by load. Load as in Processor or Network or filesystem or what.
Might start by looking at a windows system and look at perfmon (performance monitor) See all the choices that can be viewed? Linux can do many of those but almost never easy to do.
Linux is commonly referred to as a distribution. It is a collection of many things that make up what the user sees and does and can do.Each disto is different, normally it has way too much clutter just in case people might want such things.
