Hi,
I was wondering if there was some sort of software for Linux that would allow one to stream a video feed (either a webcam or from a capture card) onto the web? I assume that the client side would use a Java Applet or something like this in order to be able to place the stream on a web page... There are many pieces of software that do this for Windows, but what about for Linux?
Supposing that there is as of yet no such software available, would a Windows version work just fine using something like CrossOver etc...?
(While I'm on the topic- supposing there is no driver for Linux for a specific device, could it be installed using something like CrossOver?)
