I have two questions:
1. does real (one) player for linux also contain spyware?
2. If yes, are there other programs to stream real media/audio.

MPlayer supports everything. You'll have to download the libraries and compile it from source, with custom options when you do ./configure, but the web site has all the details, so it shouldn't be too much trouble.

The site is mplayerhq.hu

You can also get support for WMV9 and Quicktime if you want.
