Hi!

I have good puzzle for experts in linux
hardware:

I need to monitor the temperature of my
motherboard (Asus P4B533-VM), the
cpu temperature, fans rpm, and the voltage
if possible. I know that recent
motherboards have "sensor chips" which
gives this info.

Why?
We are working on a 180 nodes Cluster (a
group of computers put together
to get more computing power), for now. But
this is just our prototype, we
are planning to build another with 1024
nodes. As those machines will be
runninng 24h/24h, 7days a week, we have to
be able to shutdown
automatically a pc that overheats...

What have I tried ?
Until now, i have found X Motherboard
Monitor and LM Sensors, 2 programs
that "talks" directly to the sensor chip.
Unfortunatly, both of them do
not support the sensor chip of my
motherboard (Asus ASM58 Mozart-2).

Help! :p
I think we can read these infos in the BIOS
too, but how ? Any help will
be much appreciated ?

Thanks,

------------
