Re formatting a linux hard drive

I want to rreformat my Linux ahrd drive nack to NTFS so I can use it in my 2000 Pro computer.... I thought it woudl be as simple as having windows reformat it, but windows cannot read it!!! how can I reformat this hard drive??

Use fdisk to remove the partition. Then Windows can create an NTFS partition on it.

You'll probably have to reformat the Master Boot Record too...
"fdisk /mbr"
