Comment:

I found impossible to install RedHat 7.2 on a rack server with Intel STL2 m/b, SRCU31L RAID controller and IBM SCSI disks.
Successful installation, but I get the following errors upon booting:
mount: error 19 mounting ext3
pivotroot: pivot_root(/sysroot,/sysroot/initrd) failed: 2
Kernel panic: No init found.
Moreover, I found similar experiences described.
Can somebody tell me about a successful Intel RAID with RH 7.2 ?!
