I would like to know if there's a Quicktime player for Linux available. I haven't found any yet, and would like to advised on how to do that.

mplayer as suggested by 3Dave plays Quicktime, Real, Windows Media, DivX/XviD, MPEG, DVDs, (S)VCDs, etc., has keyboard shortcuts for just about everything, and generally has superior image quality.
