I installed redhat linux 8 on separate partition. Since I did not installed grub to the mbr I could not boot into linux. I got no floppy drive. I was wondering If i could boot into linux from the cd or create a bootable cd with the boot files from a boot floppy.

Why don't you try to boot your Linux system up using the first CD! In this case, choose "rescue" at the lilo prompt... Once you are back in, create a bootable floppy disk or install either grub or lilo!!! It would make your life a little easier if you use Linux bootloader--grub or lilo.

Definitely use a Linux boot loader.
Otherwise (and this will be tricky) you could (theoretically) make a boot floppy disk image (as opposed to a disk) and use this to make a bootable CD. You'd have to do a lot of reading to get this working though.
Otherwise, you could use loadlin under windows (or DOS rather) to boot into Linux from Windows.
Using a Linux bootloader is by far the best choice though.
