I've been trying to do some program assignment with pthread on slackware 8.1.
but compiler(cc,gcc,g++) says
pthread: no such file or directory.
Does any one know what this mean and fix it?

you must introduce the -l Option in the command line. For example.

gcc -l /usr/include program.c

if you have any problem, please send me a mail.
