Pleae help! Will be switching to linux from w2k v. shortly. Before I do, cd somebody tell me if there's any way I can import all my .pst files from ms outlook into linux? Also, will I be able to preserve all the folders / attachments etc? Sorry for the basic q. but I just need to know that I won't end up losing all the data if I convert. thanks.

I don't know of anything on Linux quite like Outlook, and certainly don't know of anything that will automatically convert your .pst data base.
You can export your address book/contacts list to a text file and load it up into one of the Linux address book programs - this will take some work. Ditto for notes, to-do lists and calendar information. It is painful but can be done.
As far as moving e-mails over - look around (STFW) to see if there is a way to import them into Netscape Communicator. You should then be able to just copy that data to the Linux box (I think - I've never done it).
