Okm im posting this again cause my last post made no sence.
I am trying to setup my 3com wireless network card to use on Redhat 7.3

According to Redhat documentation I should go to device -> add and select wireless connection from the list, however my list did not have wireless connection as an option.

According to other posts on this forums, lots of other people have had this problem, only thing is noone has said how to solve it...

It would help if you gave a model name or number or chipset or anything...

Redhat has identified this problem in their errata... they say that a fix will be posted shortly. For now you can set it up manually after every reboot using iwconfig (wireless tools rpm) and ifconfig commands.
