Hi, I have a lexmark z22 printer, I downloaded the drivers from the lexmark site to install it, it seems to work under linux when I print the test page in the lexmarkz22-z32 program, but when I try to get programs such as netscape, gimp or XV to print anything, the printer does the locking sound but after that nothing happens, nothing prints, just the locking sound. Has anyone encountered a solution to this problem? Please help

We have a Z32 Lexmark printer. I accidently deleted the printer off the computer. so I downloaded off the internet the software to re-install. Now all I get is that my printer is idle or I don't have a connection. I have checked all the cords to make sure that it all is plugged into the computer and to the outlets. What do I need to do to correct this problem. When we bought the printer from local store they didn't give us the disc to set it up. They installed it for us. Please help me I have some really important information that I need to print as soon as possible. You can contact me at my email address with any solutions.
