Problems connecting browser to internet

I installed without problems redhat 7.3. Internet works because I am able to use ftp, email, etc. But what does not work is the browser (Mozilla or Netscape, doesn't matter). When I try to look up a website it it gives me the error "The operation time out when attempting to connect to www.redhat.com".
Any body any clue what the problem is in this case? I cannot seem to resolve it.
Weird. Is it just Mozilla and Netscape? Have you tried Konquerer or Galeon or Opera? Mozilla and Netscape are really similar, so I think they share libs and stuff.
