Hi folks,

FC5_64

I encountered problem on burning DVD+RW

media tested:
TDK DVD+RW 1-4x brand new
Verbatim DVD+RW 1-4x brand new

packages newly installed;
# rpm -qa "k3b" "dvd+rw-tools"
dvd+rw-tools-6.1-0.FC5.2
k3b-0.12.15-1

to replace the old packages;
dvd+rw-tools-5.21.4.10.8-6.2.1
k3b-0.12.14-0.FC5.2

Burning result-1) : -
(settings;
Writing -> Writing Mode -> Auto
Writing -> Speed -> Auto
Settings -> Be aware that k3b needs to write multisession DVDs on-the-fly -> auto)
....
:-(media is not formatted ro unsupported
:-(write failed: Wrong medium type
K3b detected a problem with the media
Please try another media brand, preferably one explicitly recommended by your writer's vender
Report the problem if it persists anyway
Error while creating ISO image
* End *

Burning result-2) : -
(settings;
Writing -> Writing Mode -> Auto
Writing -> Speed -> 4x
Settings -> Be aware that k3b needs to write multisession DVDs on-the-fly -> Start Multisession)
...
:-(write failed: Input/output error
Fatal error during recording: Input/output error
Unable to eject media
Error
* End *

:-(write failed: Input/output error
Average overall write speed: 0 KB/s (0.00x)
Writing successfully finished
Success.

Preformatting media not started disregarding: - Settings -> Configure K3b -> (Writing -> Advanced -> check, Automatically erase CD-RWs and DVD-RWs

On Kconsole
# growisofs -dvd-compat -Z /dev/hdc -joliet-long -max-iso9660-filenames -J -V -r -D /home/satimis/Music.bz2
:-( unable to anonymously mmap 16777216: Resource temporarily unavailable

Before installing the new packages abovementioned, "growisofs" worked burning DVD+RW but K3b failed.

Please advise where can I download the most up-to-date rpm packages? OR how to fix the problem.

Some Gentoo users have also been having anonymous mmap problems.
