Comment:

when I install linux and the files are trying to install it says Cant find /VAR/MNT/INTS.sh

During the whole installation, each line that comes up says something in the sum and substance of chmon: /var/mnt/inst.sh
cant find directory.

what does this mean, am i already supposed to have that directory on the partitions i make, or is the cd rom missing that directory, as in its a bad ISO or bad cd?

The whole installation goes thru. and then when i reboot the OS loads up and when it gets to checking the motherboard it stops.

also i can use some advice on how to partition
im using the website information but it is not working

Im trying to Install Evil Entity linux.
its a good distro i heard good for multimedia and has a nice gui. Thanks for any help and i Hope i did not confuse anyone.

Hai,

If you have downloaded and burned the Cd, Just check whether all the data is burned or not by just checking the checksum. Just download the MD5 file and execute the commnd in unix or linux md5sum filename. I am not so sure about the command But try this .I hope this will be useful for you

Bye.

The command is md5sum -c filename.md5 .By this, you can check the actual size of the file in the site and the file downloaded by you.

Bye.
