Ok, I have always used Roaring penguin with Red Hat. For the first time yesterday on Red Hat 8.0 I was having problems.
My DSL link starts up after I launch Roaring Penguin's TkPPPOE. The Green status lights indicate it's linked but there is 0.0kb/s traffic in and out. I wasn't able to connect to any sites. I used the command to check the link status and it says the "Link is up and attached to ppp1, but ppp1 is down". What does that mean? Shouldn't it be ppp0? Any configuration files I need to change? Thanks for any advice.
