Hi:
I am using a laptop with Mandrake 10, KDE
When I click shutdown in KDE, it will just go back to the shell and it will not shut down the computer.
anybody know how to fix that? I don't want to press the power button on my laptop.

Are you able to shutdown by using the "halt" command?
