Comment:

I have built a Fedora 8 machine for FTP, I want it to use Windows Authentication though, so I don't have to create users on the Fedora machine itself. Can someone help me with that? Thanks

I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.

Kind of a waste of time. FTP is not secure so no matter how you authenticate it can be easily hacked.

Not sure there is a way to let linux check that a user logged into a MS machine is a valid user.
Other than AD integration that is.
If you mean AD integration that is all setup in most OS's.
