please help, my sound card

there is no sound when i played my music in red hat linux OS, my system can recognize my card. and the card is definitely working under Windows Xp!

sorry but how in the world someone can possibly help you if you dont give ANY details??

sound card?
os version?
what have u tried to make it work?
modules?
how do u know it is recognised?

please think before u post.

saying like "it doesnt work what should i do" will make people ignore your post or answer like i did.

i am willing to help u if i can but u have to provide MUCH more info so anyone can help u.

you could also check to make sure the sound server is enabled and (I've done this) make sure th cdrom is attached to the sound card
