pen drive doesn't gets detected

i formated my pen drive but format didn't
completed then i reconnected it but then it was
not recognised by my pc... Error message is--usb
device not recognised and can be malfunctioned
......What should i do????

There are a lot of ways. Might get HP's usb tools. Many of the makers of flash offer programs to help recover drives. See them first. There are also free and trial apps that can recover usb devices.
