Help guys, I just can't figure out my pcmcia network installation in RH8. It worked in Mandrake 9.2, and the drice seemed to be "tulip" and it applied "hotplug service"...
I read the help from Hawking technology, and here is the quote
"You also need to compile the source file "tulip.c" by using the GNU C compilier.

#gcc -DCARDBUS -DMODULE -D__KERNEL__ -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -O6 -c tulip.c -o tulip_cb.o -I/usr/src/pcmcia-cs-3.0.9/include/

Then, you need to copy the output file 'tulip_cb.o" to the modules
directory "/lib/modules/<Current_Kernel_Version>/pcmcia".

Can anyone help me a little bit. Step by step will be good, because I am a real newbie...

My kernel is 2.4.18-14, and redhat 8, the pcmcia network card is Hawking Cardbus....

Any response will be appreicated

Have you tried the PCMCIA boot image on the first CD-ROM?
