Does anyone has any idea of Pc Anywhere
kind of software for Linux? Which should be
GNU/GPL based. Someone told me to use VNC
viewer but it allows me to see LAN based
destop. I have to access Linux as well as
Windows based desktops.

Are you talking about logging in to your
Linux from another computer? What's wrong
with "telnet" then!!!

Don't use telnet over a hostile network (Internet, work, anything other than home). Use ssh to access the Linux computers from Windows. To make SSHing even better, set up an X server in Windows, then you can run GUI apps.

For Linux-to-Windows, use VNC. It works over the Internet if you use IP addresses.
