Does anyone has any idea of Pc Anywhere kind of software for Linux? Which should be GNU/GPL based. Someone told me to use VNC viewer but it allows me to see LAN based destop. I have to access Linux as well as Windows based desktops.
Don't use telnet over a hostile network (Internet, work, anything other than home). Use ssh to access the Linux computers from Windows. To make SSHing even better, set up an X server in Windows, then you can run GUI apps.
For Linux-to-Windows, use VNC. It works over the Internet if you use IP addresses.
