i am currently running linux and i want to partition my drive and put windows on it as well


what is a good program or how do i do it

I Think that XP's CD already has a program that can make a partition. Try checking it out.

You will be better off using a program such as gparted. You can get it as well as several other essential disaster recovery utilities on the System Rescue CD which is a Live CD you can download as an image (iso) file, then burn to a disk
